Leah's graduation made me feel something I never thought I would…old. Her mom and mine have been friends forever (I was the flower girl in her parents' wedding), and I remember when she was born! Her house has always been THE place to hang out. Probably because her family loves to have fun, and there's…

The weather ruined mine and Jordan's first attempt at a Jax Beach photoshoot, but our second try was a recipe for success. The sun shining beautifully plus the wind blowing just enough to give her beachy, windblown hair = a perfect photoshoot day!
Love the lifeguard stand pic! They are all so cute!
What a great shoot! I wish I had a beach to shoot on! Love the different ways you incorporated 2009 in these!
I love the 2009 in the sand! Too cute!!
Great pictures! Curious what lens you used?
Very nice :) Both sessions turned out fabulous!!!
Beautiful! Definitely worth the wait :)
Here it is at last. The final post from my photoshoot with the Miss Mandarin High School girls. I didn't realize it until today, but I drug this session out for a month. These last four girls are most likely wondering if I forgot about them! Of course not. :) Thank you all again for being so sweet…
I'm with Gwen…whomever said that highschool is the best time of your life had a seriously tragic miserable life!
marlena, i ALMOST wrote that!!! then i read it and thought “oh lord, i sound like someone’s mom or something!” they really are cool girls.
Lol is it wrong that when I saw the winner my initial thought was YOU ARE ALL WINNERS THOUGH!!! Hahaha. They are though. I don't miss highschool but I do wish some of THESE girls had been in my own class b/c they seem very interesting, creative, etc. I LOVE hearing people's stories and I def. think a lot of these girls have great ones.
gwen, you are so encouraging! and i have to agree…it only gets better!!!
They are such gorgeous young women! Good luck to each of you and all the best for your future. I promise life only gets better after high school!! : )
When Jordan contacted me about taking her senior pictures I asked her to tell me a little bit about herself. She said, "I'm really big into art, music, photography, the beach and cowboy boots." Um, hello? A girl after my own heart! I knew we were going to hit it off. Since she loves the beach…

my fave is the one with her sitting on the chair with her boots! Looked like a great session even if you didn't get to do the beach!
