Maybelline The Falsies mascara. This stuff is magical. I’ve used good ‘ole Great Lash since I started wearing makeup in middle school. My Mom used it, so I just used hers and loved it. And over the years I’ve tried different ones but always come back to that pink and green tube. Then one day I was wondering aimlessly through Target “grocery shopping” and this other mascara caught my eye. It was a whole dollar more, so I knew it must be good. :) It is! It looks like I’m wearing fake eyelashes, but not in a drag queen way. Try it! And you’re welcome.
The guy who always drives by and gives me a thumbs up when I’m running in our neighborhood. I thought I was the only person on earth nerdy enough to still give a thumbs up, but no! I’m not alone. And I’m not sure what the gesture means: “Good form!” or maybe “You look like you could pass out at any second, but your feet are still moving! Good for you!” Who knows? But it makes me smile, so thanks thumbs up guy!
I’m coming out of my Christmas Break hibernation. At this point I should call it a “Winter Break.” But whatever. Every year I take December off from photography and January is usually slow, so I end up doing only 1 or 2 shoots during those months! It’s so nice. But I’m ready to get back to work! So if you’re thinking about spring shoots now is the time to get on the schedule. Help me drag myself off the couch! Seriously though, I get booked fairly quickly through spring and summer. Also, I’m planning to do a few travel dates this year… wherever there’s enough interest. Lots to look forward to!
Spending a whole day trying to get some web host issues worked out. Basically this involves me trying to communicate in a language I don’t understand or speak. PHP what? So frustrating!
I bought a cute little Target dress at the thrift store and wore it a few times before I realized the tag says “sleepwear.”
Also, the other day (late in the afternoon, of course) I realized that my fly was down. And I couldn’t remember the last time I’d been to the bathroom. Why does no one mention these things?!?
Those pictures above are all that I could salvage from two rolls of film shot with my Diana Mini. And we shot most of it on vacation in NYC last month. Thank you drug store photo center for ruining my film. :(
